In dramatic times – Learning leadership for today and for the long haul

Pandemics, political uncertainties, environmental implications, it might seem that the concept of leadership and its development have never before been challenged to such a degree. Arguably, we are at a turning point towards a new era in how we do business and lead the way towards a sustainable future. We will use three sessions as an opportunity to look at some of the leadership lessons learned from the current situation and explore how we can make a positive change in all our spheres of life.

Energizing leadership for sustained performance

One challenge many organizations are currently facing is to evaluate if their workforce is energised and how we keep employees and managers energized in a healthy way through a long and demanding business period. The session shares tools to understand the shared energy of organizations, units, and teams and how this energy evolves over time as strong factor for heathy and ongoing high performance.

Professor Dr. Bernd Vogel is Founding Director of the Henley Centre for Leadership and a Professor in Leadership at the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. He works for more than 20 years with global companies, business schools and world-renowned universities. His expertise is the future of leadership, energising leadership for healthy performance and sustainable organisations, organisational energy, multi-level leadership, leadership development, and leading transformations and change.

Henley Business School Germany

Henley Business School in Germany brings the Henley Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership to Hamburg in May 2021. Insights from this breakfast and learn session will also form part of this exceptional programme. Prof. Bernd Vogel is the lead tutor on this programme and will be happy to introduce the programme in more detail to anyone that might be interested.
